Finland is often described as “one great national park” and indeed visitors can everywhere enjoy the exceptional harmony of nature and people in this country. In Finland the sense of space is truly amazing being two thirds of it covered by forest, frequently called the “green gold”. The Finnish landscape, with its hundreds of thousands of lakes, the long coastline, the granite bedrock seen everywhere, both in the forests and in the cities, is most relaxing to nations that do not possess such richness of the untouched nature.
Finland’s capital Helsinki is one of the most pleasant ones; it is surrounded by sea and green forests, its public transportation is efficient and convenient, it is pedestrian-friendly and cultural activities are abundant. The archipelago along Finland’s southern coast is magnificent. Some islands are no more than a rock and a bush, others are thickly forested. Channels and coves run in all directions.

Espoo, has a rich variety of interesting sights and attractions. All the services are at hand. You can get to the centre of Helsinki in 15 minutes and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport can also be reached in half an hour. It is the second largest city in Finland, well known as a vital centre for high technology and culture. Espoo is surrounded by nature, where rapid changes have begun in the 1950’s when the Helsinki University of Technology moved there to form Otaniemi Science Park.
