Helsinki Summer School in Transportation 2012

The Helsinki Summer School in Transportation has established itself as a premier institution offering innovative and practical approaches to understand and solve complex transport problems. The Summer School presents an intensive learning experience to transport professionals and graduate students of varying backgrounds. Following the very successful Summer Schools in past five years, the 2012 theme will be Concepts and Practices about Sustainability in Transportation. The Summer School will be a unique experience in which both the real world issues and the analytical approaches will be presented by internationally renowned experts.

The Summer School 2012 will take place in August 13-17, 2012. The five-day course will bring transport executives, managers and graduate students together to analyze and discuss issues in Sustainability in Transport. The Summer School is organized by Transportation Engineering of Aalto University School of Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
